Benefits of My Services
Can I Help You?
Yes I can. Maybe you’ve heard of psychotherapy and because of stigma or a belief it was for people with “real problems,” you hesitated to contact a therapist. There wasn’t a class in school to teach you how to navigate life’s most important challenges. So why not ask an expert for help?
I teach truly effective ways to deal with common, everyday irritations as well as more entrenched patterns of living. I, or someone I know can help you with what prompted you to look into my services, so give me a call.
“Who Are Typical Clients?”
Typical clients come to improve their lives in many different areas. They are kind, loving people who want more out of life. They may have relationship problems, addictions, mid-life issues, want to be better athletes, experiencing end of life issues, learning to cope better with any of life’s difficulties such as illness, finding meaning in life, transitions and decision making. People in all phases of their relationships from pre-commitment to divorce and beyond come to see me.
As you can see, my work is helpful for just about anything life presents to you. If I don’t work with your particular concern, I’ll help you find someone who does. So, whatever you’re facing, contact me. I may not become your therapist, but you’ll be taking a big first step to living the life you want to live.
“What is psychotherapy?”
It’s a way to enrich your life. Psychotherapy can increase emotional, mental and physical health. It can improve any relationship, enhancing the quality of day to day living. Therapy restores hope and gives direction as you create a successful life.
The truest measure of the quality of your life is the quality of your relationships. Emotional health is vital to a satisfying relationship. Psychotherapy can improve emotional health, thus improving relationships and the value of your life. You spend time and money taking care of your body and mind, why not spend some time and money taking care of your emotional self too?
Psychotherapy addresses personal and emotional challenges. I provide a setting of safety, confidentiality and acceptance. This allows you to fully explore what you want to talk about. Together, we will create new ways to effectively find your best choice of action. Think of me as a different kind of personal trainer.
As I inferred earlier, there wasn’t a class in school on how to get along with people, have a happy marriage, raise your children, handle financial matters, and feel at peace with yourself. That’s why psychotherapy exists. If everyone were taught these important life lessons, there would be little need for my services.
Psychotherapy is educational. It’s life and relationship school. Whatever you’re facing, you’re not the first person who traveled that path. I can help show you how others have lived through the challenges that trouble you and have come through them by creating a more satisfying life. You don’t have to figure this out on your own.
